What is this world that I live in where a TV-adaptation of the Defenders has a better trailer than the cinematic Justice League?

This might be the comic book show that I'll actually watch, other than The Punisher. I've only seen Daredevil season 2, so I hope I'll be able to appreciate the Defenders without watching the other ones.
