The NolanFans Film Awards: Unlike the Oscars, respects not only diversity, but also variety. And this year, we're gonna get it completely right.
Last year was a major success in narrowing down all the proper choices for all the important categories. We are now back with a new batch of films to pick from. This is the nomination stage which I like to call "The Talli's", where you get to vote on whatever film you want now and then later vote on the films that qualified for the final voting round.
Let me stress this, one vote = one count. Catch up on some of the films released in 2015, and give each category a good think-over. I'd strongly advise on voting closer to the closing date, as then you'll have had plenty of time to expose yourself to enough movies as possible.
Close Date is March 1
There are always some confusion regarding film release dates - here you can vote on 2014 films but only if they had a wide or limited release in 2015. For example, Appropriate Behaviour premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, but got a limited release on January 16 2015. Also as a clarification, Beasts of No Nation does qualify because it had a limited run in cinemas.
Here are the categories:
Make your post clear. Stick to just the film name unless you have to list specific things like actors or songs because it's generally clear otherwise. At the top of your post have 'VOTE - USERNAME' in bold.
Formatting as seen in spoiler tags below:
This is not a discussion thread, this is a vote thread. No random posts. If anyone would like to help with counting up the votes, PM me.
Thank you and happy voting.
