Yeah, she was only the daughter of the founder of the RSC and Olivier's successor as director of the National Theatre...

Obscurity!

Which somehow guarantees she's a talent and a pass during his casting process?

It means that you'd think Sir Peter Hall can put in a few good words here and there and make things happen if he so chooses.

Good thing she's a terrific actress!

In 2006, we saw the emergence of two actresses, plucked from obscurity and given very prominent roles in two big movies. The first being Casino Royale, the second being The Prestige. And here we are... 10 years later, and they have not faded back into obscurity. Hall and Green are two of the most under-appreciated actresses to have emerged from the past 12 years, and I'm just utterly happy that even though they have been exposed to the Hollywood system, they're able to go back to small indie roles (I'm looking at you Jennifer Lawrence...)

And if you want more Rebecca Hall in your life, watch Parade's End; she is absolutely magnetic.

Farmiga, Patton and Blunt also had their breakthroughs in 2006.£

Also, screenwriter Craig Shilowich was there to do a Q+A which I've inserted into the review a bit.
