No it doesn't. The only blockbuster last year shot on film that was mastered in 4K was Spectre.

Most of these movies have too many complex VFX shots/character's that can only feasibly be finished in 2K.

Well what's the difference between the few bits of footage we've seen of Lex and say..Electro from the last Spider-Man (which was basically Shumacher's Nygma and Freeze). I hope he shows a serious side behind closed doors, but im just judging Lex from the trailers. So far, yes, he's Schumacher level to me.

And im not the only one who feels that way.

And yeah, I know you're not the only one. It reminds me of the sort of audience that laughs at Driver when he removes the mask in TFA, zero respect for the profession and (actual) talent.

You are right about Man of Steel though, mastered in 2K.

No they aren't. The only source for that is IMDB, which is routinely wrong, especially pre-release. Force Awakens, Jurassic World, M:I-5... all listed as 4K until the DCP specs were released. IMDB users assume a blockbuster is 4K until proven wrong, and even then it's sometimes listed incorrectly.

Hmm. I might be mistaken then, if that is the case, sorry.

Do you have the source that claims that TFW was mastered in 2K? Would be an interesting read.
All I could find is sites claming that it's mastered in 4K, since it needs to live up the new 4K laser IMAX projection, are those sites wrong?
