For the record I didn't make a thread. Posted some trade news in the VII thread that was then spun-off into its own thing by one of the mods. No biggie.

Deadline first reported that Johnson is directing and writing both VIII and IX. So there was some understandable confusion.

The other trades (Variety, THR, The Wrap) say that Rian Johnson is writing/directing VIII and is writing the story treatment for IX.

It's fine. I wasn't blaming you. I just think the movies should have separate threads.
