Would love to see some left field casting as well somewhere down the road as Nolan did in all three of his Batman films. So far almost all the casting choices fit like a glove at first glance.

@Vader I mean Jenkins is certainly doing it. Casting Wiig who is normally typecast as clumsy and funny characters, to portray Cheetah, or the usually cool rogue badass antagonist Pedro Pascal, as this corporate behind the scene figure Maxwell Lord.

It might not work, but she's going for fascinating choices here.

Like for Batman's femme fatale villains, people tend to typically fan cast the new popular talented young actresses of the day who have already tackled similar roles. But Nolan went with Hathaway, no one saw that coming, and now it will be a struggle to top that one. (Even though Pfeiffer's is still the best)

Like Ledger told Nolan all those years ago, many young actors tend to not face much in the way of challenge in Hollywood because they are perceived as only a certain type and then keep being offered similar roles. There is no room for growth for them, when there is not enough bold choices and vision on filmmakers part, when it comes to casting.

He's already in Gunn's Suicide Squad.

Rumour has it that they want McCounaghey for Two Face.

If so, then flop confirmed. Lol
