(i know this is not the right board, maybe a mod can help out)

i need a movie recommendation.

sadly ive already seen all nolan movies....

i got a list with a lot of great movies on it that i gotta see, but lets say they all are more on the chewy side.

but what i want most of the time, is a movie like the prestige. it was so much fun to watch, it was the only movie i actually watched again right away.
other movies like that would be "back in time", or "(500)days of summer". the last one is the proof that it is actually possible to make a good romcom. also i'd recommend it to you, because of a great -->

as you can see, its really not about the genre, i just want something fun to watch =)

edit:
i dont know how to describe what im actually searching, but maybe after the first few recommandations i can get more specific

Well there a tons of films to mention.
But if we are talking in the magician theme. The Illusionist (2006) is an awesome film as well. And got an awesome atmosphere. Not just worth a watch. But a must watch I would say. It may look cheesy on the DVD cover. But trust me, you will enjoy this.

its really not about the genre ;)

ive seen the illusionist already, and i liked it. but still, there where a few lengths (is this the right word? sounds stupid) in it...

but since we are at it:
i found it a bit stupid, that at the end (if i remember right) there was no magic at all, and everything was "scientific". all the previous tricks were obv made with CGI, so i got was convinced its actual magic. i just thought trapping me _that_ way is a bit... trivial?

or - you could just stick to the Prestige. I realized there just isn't any movie like the Prestige. So I've seen it 15 times up to know. It's getting better and better...

Other then Memento, none of those movies are like The Prestige.

OP, if you looking for non-linear films here's a few I can think of off the top of my head.

Reservoir Dogs
The Usual Suspects
Kill Bill Volume One and Two
Jackie Brown
Pulp Fiction
I'm Not There

I'm sure I'll think of more later...
