This franchise really should be terminated. They'll most definitely never even come close to the level of the first two films.

I wonder when they'll notice that the STYLE of the first two movies was a big part of their success. If the new movie, referenced the first two visually in its first trailer, I think it would get A LOT of people on board for that.

It wouldn't make the film good by any means, but visually it would harken back to the glory days and it would make sense to do so from a marketing standpoint. So far 3 and 5 looked like boring and generic action movies and 4 had a style that was totally different than the first two films (although I think it fit that story and it did produce some very cool trailers).
