She's already rich. Lizzie, you're better than this.

Maybe she wants to get into comic book movies? It worked for Gadot.

I know I'm an unapologetic fanbot of these films, but this series has yet to have a real stinker, even though 7 came close

Wan was a bad choice, but F. Gary Gray is at least a decent director with a history of good work

this will be great and Theron will be fantastic in it

mark my words

Tokyo Drift and the 4th one are risible.

Dear lord, no. Both exhibit Lin's superior skill with using practical effects and directing decent drama. His involvement in the series is most probably the one thing that has kept it alive and exciting.

Scott Eastwood Joins Charlize Theron in ‘Fast 8’
Scott Eastwood has joined the cast of “Fast 8,” the next installment in the “Fast and Furious” franchise.

Eastwood joins Charlize Theron, who will portray a new antagonist.

The latest installment begins production this summer with a planned April 14, 2017, release. Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez will reprise their roles, with F. Gary Gray taking over the directing reins. Neil Moritz and Diesel will produce.

Eastwood is playing the protege of Kurt Russel’s federal agent, who will be reprising his role in the latest installment as well. Plot details are under wraps, although sources have told Variety that Cuba will be one of the destinations the production will visit during its shoot.

Eastwood tweeted the news on Monday with a simple message: “#F8″

Eastwood can be seen next in another big franchise, “Suicide Squad,” as well as in the Oliver Stone biopic “Snowden” and the Ben Affleck-helmed “Live by Night.” He also recently joined the cop thriller “Crown Vic” opposite Alec Baldwin.
