This thread is created to discuss films from 2014 that you want to see being considerated, rather than all the choices having your usual Oscar Baity films. We'd like to see more independent films, like Camp X-Ray or Locke or A Most Wanted Man, just the ones that were you impressed with that have probably been forgotten in the midst of other great films.
So happy discussing and voting. I expect a diverse amount of films, one that will make the Academy think twice about their taste in films.

Ooooo, I like that suggestion.
Since Simmons is obviously going to be nominated, I think I'll put my vote in for someone else, even though I think Simmons was the best, so there's more than one person in the category.
