I can't say i even loved it , Hou Hsiao Hsien never made something so cryptic but visually its one of the most gorgeous thing i have ever seen. I know awards in US tend to be an hollywood celebration , but if they don't recognize how insanely gorgeous it is , its a fucking travesty. No other film this year even deserves to be mentioned cinematography-wise next to The Assassin.
