Been playing Jedi: Fallen Order. It’s more Star Wars than anything in the Disney trilogy.

This thread really sums up what I’ve always appreciated about Rogue One and hope more Star Wars in the future can go for this style (Cassian show duh) it was refreshing. Like Vader said with ROS maybe if you open yourself up with what this movie is trying to do and say you can find a lot of good as I and others have.

just watched phantom menace and attack of the clones. if you consider the two to be in any way comparable you're out of your gourd. at worst tpm is dry and has little characterization. aotc is like watching the room.

i like the noir-mystery vibes and aesthetic in aotc, and the battle is great

general advice: if you think of TPM and AOTC as gallery installations, you'll enjoy them a lot more

if you think of aotc as a soap it's pretty great.

and no i don't know why i felt compelled to post about the prequels on the internet

Of any filmmaker who would actually do it (IE, no Spielberg, Nolan, Cameron, Fincher) who would you want to helm the next era of Star Wars, who would it be?

happy New Years btw
