Sony’s long awaited Metal Gear Solid adaptation looks to have gained some major momentum as sources tell Deadline that Oscar Isaac is attached to play Solid Snake in Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ Metal Gear Solid. The film is currently in development at Sony Pictures with Vogt-Roberts on board to direct.
JVR is a huge Kojima fan. His twitter page over the year has been flooded with MGS posts, he truly respects the mythology of the series. I was already excited but Isaac on board is just fantastic. Can't wait to see the rest of the cast
Skull Island was not bad nor particularly good. It was basically a straight line that had some moments. Which might not be a bad thing for a Metal gear Solid movie.
