Robin Hood (As much as I like the first half of it), Exodus, The Counselor and Hannibal were four occasions I was disappointed with post Gladiator Scott. None of them are awful films by any measure. All the rest have delivered in different levels.

Anyway from the look of it 2015 might end up being the best year for sci-fi since 2009. Fury Road, Ex Machina and apparently this. If only Awakens and Mocking Jay turn out to be as good, but that's not a very small if.£

Every movie he makes from this point may be his last, I am grateful that we're getting The Martian.

The Martian is incredible !!!!! Not only is it the best movie at TIFF so far it's the best of the year
