"I thought, ‘why not? What fun.’ It’s not quite like the other, we’re starting with clean slate.
-Steven Knight who wrote the script (Dennis Kelly, creator of UK-Utopia polished it)

So forgetting that it's a sequel, a Steven Knight penned zombie film directed by Fincher and starring Brad Pitt is actually quite intriguing lol

But I question Fincher's mental state to pass on The Girl who Played with Fire and doing this instead

It had furious non-stop pacing... and Pitt was good I guess

But that PG-13 sanitized zombie action was so bad.

Yeah, why wouldn't I be?

-We've been wanting a true Fincher blockbuster for years.
-Knight script
-Pitt does a lot of his best work with Fincher
-first film was actually really good, blending geopolitics/theme/action in a compelling way

Far as I'm concerned if this happens I'm excited.
