Lot of signs point to this episode being largely centered on his character.

Couldn't help wondering: If the show does last like 8 seasons (which Lisa indicated; with her comment about how S1 covered only about an eighth of their story), it'd probably be done by around 2024. Or maybe a year or two shorter, if they do compress their story, to end with six/seven seasons (2022-23; assuming it's one every year with S2 in 2018).

That would make Jonah's adaptation of Isaac Asimov's Foundation have the most longest gestation periods of an HBO regular drama. He'd probably get to it only after Westworld wraps (don't want to leave it hanging). It was first announced to be in development, in November 2014. At this rate, it'll launch only ten years after that. Tops.

Sorry, I was getting a bit ahead of myself. Here's a cool cover of the theme.

I'm after 4 episodes and I still can't get into it. Does it get better or something? Because I still don't understand the hype. There's not one character on the show I care about. The most interesting would be Dolores, I guess, but I've seen her die so many times already, I just can't get invested into her storyline. I just feel disconnected from all the stories, just as much as the stories themselves feel disconnected from each other. I like the ideas this show wants to talk about but it's just not engaging enough.

I think I'll finish it, just because it's written by Jonah Nolan but if it doesn't get better it will be a huge dissapointment.

It's not without its weaknesses and a lot of us here have been quite vocal about them.

The last two episodes have been really good though and it is always fascinating/intriguing.

Similar to Thrones in that regard.

This one was fun, & it was more about past revelations than pushing the story forward (there was the latter too, but the former was more).

Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton, & Ed Harris really killed this one. Look out for the audio cameo of Jonah, in the scene with Maeve in her house towards the end.
