Fascinating film, had not seen it before (why the hell isn't it on Blu-Ray?). Ed Harris and Michael Biehn are spectacular and the claustrophobic feel is so great. Cameron's directing skills are probably their most impressive there even if I didn't love it as much as some of his other films.

It's basically Titanic with a love story that's better written and doesn't overshadow the rest.

Not really sure I dig the ending though (Yes I saw the extended cut)

The Lady Eve: Ah, so frustrating. Great first half, poor second half. Take away what made the movie great initially (the romance, chemistry between Stanwyck and Fonda) and replace it with unfunny gags. Fonda's character is shy, naive? Let's just make him dumb later. Of course the biggest blunder was saved for Stanwyck's character. Still, she gave a performance for the ages.

Coherence

Neat little film, but probably the most annoying cast of characters I've seen in awhile.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Actually the first time I've seen it all the way through. Is it bad that I prefer the way I thought it was going to end to how it actually did end?
