Great great episode.

3 out of 3.

So many small details. Lindelof could pull something close to Lost with this one.

I just don't understand the philosophy of The Guilty Remnant.

Isn't that like one of the main mysteries of the show?

on the other hand reddit always offers some answers

The show is a metaphor for what happens when a tragedy occurs. The people mysteriously disappear because it stànds for many different scenarios all at once ; losing someone to cancer, a car crash, a murder, divorce, etc. it's done on a huge scale so that society had a chance to go through the grieving process and observe the process from the outside all at the same time. That's why you see the community as a divided structure based on how different personalities cope with grief. The remnant is the grouping of those who can't move on. They don't see value in continuing to live because they can't make sense of the tragedy and as a result can't continue to place meaning in life. They don't speak because the spoken word plays a huge significance in our spiritual history and iconography. We know of the word, Satan, from Abrahamic religions and most people today think of Satan as an entity outside of the whole when in fact the Hebrew word for Satan means "a lying word." The remnant most likely believes that the word is the downfall of man in this world. That's why their posters say stop wasting your breathe.

Let's see where the show goes, because the New Testament is supposed to be the redemption of the word.

Great episode.

3 more episodes and we could have our third gem of the year.

It's kind of a cliche now, but yeah Lindelof seems to have another headturner of a show. So many mysteries, and the pieces are slowly falling into place.

My favourite character is probably Nora Durst - the actress Carrie Coon is a star to look out for!

Great season.

Nora is amazing. Same with Matt. But the finale was carried by Justin's performance. And the last 30 minutes were so good.

Those Lindelof haters on imdb tho lol (those 6.1% count for around 0.5 from the total ranking... so the show would still sit good above 8.0 if the number of 1/10 ratings wouldn't be so damn high lol)

Definitely in for season 2. Bring it on.
