Acting talent is mostly subjective. I saw plenty of people talking shit on Ledger's acting abilities when he was cast, and Daniel Craig was called wooden. Previous rumors mentioned for Lex Luthor include Mark Strong and Bryan Cranston. I haven't been able to verify whether or not Strong or Cranston has been awarded the role, or if it's someone else entirely.

They may have well of stuck any generic household name actor in there. When I watch the movie now it will be extremely difficult to separate the actor from the character. Not happy about this one bit.
