Universal should get John Hyams to direct.

Even though 6 is his fourth film in the FF franchise, he should return for 7.

Lin's making the right choice here for a couple of reasons. One, the studio is obviously trying to rush the project and Lin feels this is a mistake. So it's a smart move on his part. Also, he's attached to half a dozen other projects that I'm sure he'd love to work on. I mean I'm sure he's got to be tired of shooting cars. lol

That's true, I'm glad he's standing his ground in a way, I'd like to see different projects from him.

It's just sad the series will likely go out on a very low note if the studio simply hires a director to do a quick run job.
