Harley Quinn season 2 episode 5 'Batman's back, Man'. Bane is precious and must be protected at all costs ('Nooo, that is a shadow. I was born there but that's not me').
Hands down DC Universe's best show.

Defending Jacob on tv+

Episode 5 continues on the excellence established with the first 4 episodes. There's so much going on here thematically with identity and trauma and how we cope, etc. Also the casting of who plays Jacob's grandfather (which was a surprise to me, so I'll keep it so here as well) is brilliant.

I know this much is True on HBO

Ruffalo is amazing in the Pilot. Cianfrance directs this beautifully but it is by no means and easy watch.
the scene with the brother taking a bite out of his burger and a tear rolling down his face broke me

After finishing Community - what an amazing show!- I've been watching Love, continuing my Gillian Jacobs' binge. She's so good in Love and the show is amongst the best of Apatow's production imo (more focused than Girls, more detailed and realistic than Trainwreck). Then I learnt that one of the director of the show, Lynn Shelton has just died.
I haven't yet watched the final episode which I know she directed and I hope to see it in the next two days to remember her work. RIP Lynn Shelton.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power season 5
This show is incredible. Not one bad season among them and it's one of those shows that sets an example in terms of explicit LGBT representation in animation. The characters were all just so much fun and nuanced, it's got an awesome 80s style soundtrack and it knows how to punch you in the gut emotionally and then make you laugh 3 seconds later. This is really something special.

9/10

The Last Dance episode 7. It’s good to see that journalism/news was just as garbage and toxic back in the 90s as today

Finale of Defending Jacob on tv+

Holy cow this show is v v good. Was worried they wouldn't stick the landing, but happy to report they did. I see Derek Cianfrance’s I Know This Much is True misery porn and raise you the last two episodes of Morten Tyldum’s Defending Jacob.
