I couldn't even bother with Thunderdome yesterday.

This, on the other hand, could end up being my favorite Mad Max film. Yup, even better than Road Warrior. But I'll allow some time to pass before deciding.
I know it's only May, but Fury Road will definitely end up among 2015's memorable summer blockbusters (if not the best). The visuals were simply breathtaking, nothing new here. I loved the stark contrast between this and first Mad Max movies, this one had such a vibrant and almost surreal look to it. I thought the use of our main characters was quite harmonious, therefore I don't really understand the previous rant about film's deception of the male audiences and feminist propaganda by that manchild. I honestly didn't realize there wasn't a lot of dialog before the credits started rolling, yet it didn't bother me in the slightest, the movie just kept unfolding at such a dynamic pace, that my heart was racing all the time. Soundtrack was so darn good as well. So were the actors, Charlize and Hoult were the standouts, Hardy made a great Max as well.

To put it shortly - it's kind of perfect as far as these kind of movies go. Will most definitely go for a second time.

Hard to compare the 2. Different eras and universes.

I'll take that as a yes.

Hardy continues to rise. 8-)
