All right boys and girls and miscellaneous others, welcome to The NolanFans Film Awards 2013.
This thread was created with the blessing of DoubleD and the_red_ninja and of course, when I say 2013- I'm referring to films of 2012.
Now for the most part, here's how this thing works.
You are to decide which films excelled in whatever particular categories (which will be listed shortly). You only get one vote- unless your choices are so poor, I force you to pick them again. So pick very carefully. You will have until February 10th (or whatever date seems appropriate) to watch as many movies as possible and I advise you don't vote until quite late/you are sure. I hope this will be the nomination stage.
The categories are:
I tried to pick the main categories people care about. Documentaries and short films compete with all the others, some categories are combined.
Make your post clear. And please, try to stick to just the film name unless you have to list specific things like actors or songs because it's generally clear otherwise. At the top of your post have 'VOTE - USERNAME' in bold.
The formatting is as such:
Just try to catch our attention (colour your name/enlarge text) and keep to the format.
After that, I'll pick a small pool of nominations and then we can pick the winners. Or I'll be lazy and count this as final.
This will take a long time so try to help out with the count if you can, if someone wants to help volunteer it is appreciated.
Keep random posts in the thread to a minimum.
And remember, this is a test run- so let me know if you think there is a more efficient way to do all this. Give advice.
Unless this thread is stickied (please do mods), I'll bump it every now and then.
