So can someone explain to me what the last scene means? I have no idea why thats there or who the shooter would be.
It's supposed to signify that he'll forever be 'hunted' because of what happened, meaning he's gonna have to live the rest of his life looking over his shoulder. I don't think it matters who the shooter is, what matters is that he'll never forget what happened to him.
Exactly. Which is what ties into the hunting in the picture itself. No hunter (and it's a hunting culture) ever truly accepts that there's the "one that got away". No one is satisfied with a hunt that ends ambiguously -- the beast must die or the pursuit goes on.

Fuck it. I'm going to stop bullshitting and watch this tomorrow.

Actually Law, should I watch this or Blue Is The Warmest Colour tomorrow? I'm behind on my foreign shit.

That's tough, but for a quick, incredibly thought provoking film, check out The Hunt. If you're in the mood for a coming of age, brilliantly crafted 3hr epic.. go for Blue.

Thoughts on Behind the Candelabra?

Two subjects nobody likes to talk about but both were equally as upsetting. The last shot made me feel like it was just a
hallucination
though

Even if it is just a hallucination, it shows how tortured his mind is. A burden he must live with now
I still think that The Hunt gets the edge over 12YAS because
12 has a happy ending, whereas Hunt is a more open ending.
