Was I the only one who thought Redmayne's performance wasn't ground breaking? The movie itself is so dull and boring imo. He actually got lucky the two best performances of the year didnt get nominated (Gyllenhaal and Oyelowo)

Witherspoon deserved it, imho.

I don't think Gone Girl was really snubbed by a large margin, but I did really really like Pike in it. Haven't seen Still Alice so I can't say.
