Were you seriously expecting it to be award-worthy anyway?
I'm not expecting a BP nomination or anything in the acting category. I mean the technical categories (sound mixing, visual effects).

Here's a list of possible nominees from the Playlist:
http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/ ... s-20130226?

"August Osage County"
"Foxcatcher"
"Gravity"
"Inside Llewyn Davis"
"Labor Day"
"Monuments Men"
"Saving Mr. Banks"
"Twelve Years a Slave"
"Untitled David O Russell ABSCAM Project "
"The Wolf Of Wall Street"
August Osage County and Saving Mr. Banks don't have great directors, but with the actors and the subject matter involved, that may not matter much.

AMPAS is probably going to have way more issues with the tone and violence of Twelve Years a Slave than with Django. Maybe an acting nod for Ejiofor. Fassbender too hardcore.

well I like him as an actor and Bennett Miller's movies are always at the Oscars, so...I honestly don't know anything about his performance

Emmanuel Lubezki will win Cinematography for "Gravity." Three of the last four winners (Avatar, Hugo, Life of Pi) have been digitally shot in 3D.
A film is like a battleground. There's love, hate, action, violence, death. In one word: emotions.
