feel like timing this and still having NOVEMBER on there even on the US materials, right after the WW84 move and those Black Widow rumours, says a lot. everyone else (major studio-wise) has abandoned date-specific messaging. This has NOVEMBER not just on the US materials as is the (pre pandemic) norm but *everywhere*

'Bond will release this November or we're as good as finished with distribution into cinemas for the forseeable future,' a rival studio executive said to me, in a Zoom call.

I'm getting cinema truly is fucked right now vibe.
At least with Bond, perhaps more tickets will sell since Tenet wasn't all that mainstream a la Inception.

England might be heading into a new lockdown of sorts next week...

Might be the dealbreaker, the thing that causes delay...but on the other hand could end up PVOD too, just to avoid another delay and marketing restart

Third marketing restart would be a disaster.

PVOD in that case.
