I say it again, errrrbody is getting old. I'd have loved to see Matthew Goode as Bond, but it will probably end up with someone like Nicholas Hoult. Sigh.
And when it comes to Nolan directing, why is Hardy the go-to guy. Why not Cillian bruh?
Murphy just doesn't feel like he could be a scoundrel like Bond. He can play timid and evil very well, but never with the level of confidence or flexibility that is required for Bond. And even when he does play an intimidating character, he can only do it when it is street level, not globally (Like in Peaky Blinders). I see him more as a villain than as Bond.
