The third Pirates of the Caribbean. Just over 340 million.

LMAO, I had no idea.
P.S - Wait, it's even costlier than the 4th one?

It seems ludicrous to me that they replaced Chiwetel Ejiofor with Andrew Scott to save 1 measly million.

Meh.

Scott's wonderful. I'm excited to see him in the Bond-verse.

I love Scott, but his inclusion makes speculation about his role quite unambiguous. We all know he's gonna end up as one of those rogue agents. Ejiofor would have been a much more exciting choice. Showing him as the good guy turned bad - that would have been a frakking coup for Mendes & co!

The leaked emails talk about terrible 3rd act and awful ending.

The amount of people making this sound 1000000000x worse than it ACTUALLY is....shit guys.

I heard that the email says Scott was Mendes' choice, Sony wanted Chiwetel and it so happens that Scott was 1 mil cheaper. Geez.

Leaks is one thing but media twisting everything to make it seem like total shit and people buying it? Well...

Yes, weeks before they delivered the final draft. Last emails are actually pretty excited about the whole film but emphasized they need to work on the punch line.

Edit: AMEN antovolk.

How could Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End have costed that much? Crazy amount of money.
