Drinking Buddies

Olivia Wilde gives an amazing performance. I can't believe I just said that lol. But I gotta give it to Olivia Wilde and this entire cast  . What really made it work was Olivia Wilde and Jake Johnson's on screen chemistry. Gives a refreshing realistic take on relationships. Funny, charming and moving. I have a massive girl crush on Anna Kendrick. She was lovely and great as usual. Its worth checking out.

Grade: B

Pearl Harbor (2001)

I love this movie. It is epic yo. The score is repetitive, but sooo good and appropriate - classic Zimmer. This is definitely my favourite Bay film yo. Also didn't realise this gem before

Pearl Harbor should be considered a war crime.

And I'm not talking about the attack itself.

Pearl Harbor had very uneven pacing and was a bore.

I can't believe Bay blew that chance (actually I can). He could have done what hes best at and made a huge sprawling action film, but instead its all rather contained and by the time we get to it, the audience doesn't give a shit.

Intentional or not?
