Inglorious Basterds - A return to form for Quentin Tarantino. Christoph Waltz stole the show and deserved his Oscar as the Jew Hunter. Brad Pitt was good too.

Hardy continues to show why he is one of the best in the biz right now. Dude is so fucking intense in his role. Pearce was excellent as the villain as well. I wouldn't be shocked if one of them picked up the Best Supporting Actor nod. They would deserve it. I did has some minor issues with the film, mainly being the romantic subplot which I felt made the story drag and seems slightly tacked on. Still a great movie though, with some excellent performances.
9.5/10
Fuck the haters, this is still the best film of the year.(That I've seen, so if anyone wants to say "Skyall" or "Lincoln", shove it up your arse, I haven't seen em yet.)

...I think you misread that. He's saying it was a return to form FOR TARANTINO, not for Pitt.

For Tarantino as a director. I know Brad Pitt's OTT performance was received with mixed views but I thought it was funny.

Wow where has this movie been hiding. I can't believe I'm just seeing it for the first time. Hawke and Ruffalo were amazing, truly top caliber actors. The story was great too, kind of like The Town only with more of a human element. A great crime family movie
