I would still see this in 3D IMAX if that was the only IMAX option because the 3D in Prometheus was the best 3D I've ever seen.

But still 3D, which sucks for numerous reasons.
Very glad this isn't 3D. Would like to know why Scott stopped with 3D, he once said all of his future films would be in 3D.

Serious question: is the xenomorph still scary? I mean, in the first two films it was but since then we've been so exposed to it in popular culture that I wonder whether the presence of the monster itself will have the desired effect on the audience.

Depends on how it's used in this film really. IMO it doesn't really matter how often you've been exposed to them before. They're still scary in video games for instance.
