Mine is:

The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand

Prisoner of Birth by Jeffrey Archer.

Best true story is The Innocent Man by John Grisham

For fantasy, read any book by Robin Hobb. Kicks J K Rowling in the ass.David Eddings is also amazing for fantasy.

For action, read any Matthew Reilly books (Temple is the best, but Ice Station, Area 7 and Scarecrow are great)

All Lee Child books are also great since the protagonist is great (Jack Reacher)

For legal thrillers, you cant beat John Grisham, although some books of his suck royally
