If it helps, I am one of those who think that maybe Into the spider verse 1 surpassed Spider-Man 2 for me. And this second one, I believe I could say the same about it. I don’t care for other live action Spider-Man movies other than Raimi’s 1 and 2 and into the spider verse films. Do with that what you will.

I just saw Into the other day. Really impressive. The acting is better than most Oscar nominated movies. They might have to do away with human actors

Just saw it, I was mind-blown by the visuals on this.
Those news stories don't seem too surprising either, because I can't even fathom the amout of time and energy required to do that; it was trippy with the frequent visual changes.
