Terrible people doing terrible things to each other with more dragons? I'm in.

Looks a hundred times better than the Amazon LOTR show tbh and the acting and dialogue/writing seem also to be of better quality.

Except that without the show that those 2 guys made you don't get The Witcher, Wheel of Time, the Amazon LOTR show or this show. You watched 8 seasons of the show they wrere the showrunners for, which means they worked on ALL aspects of the show, meaning the great stuff and the not-so-great stuff is, in part, to their credit.

Strong first episode. Matt Smith is gonna be great in this role. Paddy Considine was really good, also.

Yep. A great first episode and a nice introduction to a lot of the major players. The strongest actors so far seem to be Smith, Ifans, Considine and I really enjoy the soundtrack, especially the variations of the music themes from the old show. Visually, the show seems to be very much in line with GOT and the dialogue is excellent.
