My fellow Nolannites.... If there is anything bad that has come out of The Dark Knight it is the fact that it is taking so much time out of my life. Yes if you haven't guessed by now I am addicted to watching The Dark Knight. I have watched it well over a hundred times. As a matter fact I am watching it right now...... I need help ! This is worse than Cobb's dream addiction in Inception. The other day I was watching a movie in a movie theater and I was seriously contemplating on going home to watch The Dark Knight instead (this is coming from a highschooler on a friday night)..... Any advice?

.... btw this is no joke

I honestly don't know how you watch it that many times. I've probably seen it 6 times, and I like rewatching it every now and then, but wow. I suggest you try weaning off that and maybe watch a TV show on DVD, it keeps you occupied for quite a while and you have something to look forward to. Comic books/Graphic novels are good too.

That is an epic first post, gotta say.

Also: That's probably not a good thing.

I mean, I watched Star Wars Episode III daily for a year, but that's because I was a strange(r) child :ugeek:

I see what you mean. I'm addicted to The Dark Knight and Inception, I've watched them A LOT of times. I suppose you could try and watch a different genre. Maybe horror, thriller or even war movies? Slowly it will die out, until The Dark Knight Rises is released...

Yeah, I agree with all of those. Also try watching these:

Memento (Yeah, it's Nolan, but it's very different"
The Godfather Series
The Departed
Full Metal Jacket
2001: A Space Odyssey
Avatar
Terminator 2: Judgment Day
Wanted
Gladiator
Black Hawk Down
The Hannibal Franchise
Saw Series
Apocalypse Now
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest

Any of those will completely destroy your addiction... hopefully. Try a nice comedy also, loosen up a little.

Yeah, you can watch The Prestige too! It's another AWESOME Nolan's movie

And try watching a really, really good TV show (depending on what you like, maybe you could try Nikita, I love this one) if you get addicted to it, you might stop watching TDK over, and over again
