Why oh why did he not say BAT instead of submarine? Seriously this piece of bad writing just nags me so much.

Watch it again.

It's great writing actually. Chris is great at un-cheesying otherwise cheesy dialogue.

I just don't get it? What is that supposed to mean..the whole trilogy is filled with cheesy comedy. Plus, the whole sonar thing was cheesy to begin with. But if it had been Bat-ified properly it would have been a whole more believable. A submarine's sonar would not work in air.
