The greatest comic book based movie till date, The Dark Knight delivers.
An amazing story, extraordinary characters, amazing editing and sound.
One of the greatest movies of the decade.

Memento & The Dark Knight are equally awesome but Memento wins by a pinch. :)

i always thought spidey 2, batman (burton) and the crow will be the best comic book movies of all time, but then nolan came and delivered the dark knight. it's for sure one of the best comic book movies of all time.

my ranking would be:

1. spidey 2, the dark knight / the crow / batman (burton)

This is the movie that made me really lose faith in the Academy Awards. Ever since The Dark Knight was snubbed for an Oscar, it has made the awards, in my eyes, seem really biased and popularity-based, although the Academy made a smart move recently by not picking Avatar.

After seeing TDK, my perspective on movies changed. I have started taking movie-watching more seriously. It is not my favorite film, but ranks in the top 10. Not only is it a great comic book film, but it easily rivals many other classic films of our generation. Definitely one of the best films of the last decade.
