Tremendous, this is the movie where I realised how much I love Nolan's work. Right from the opening shot, as soon as David Julyan's music kicks in I knew this was going to be something else entirely. Possibly CN's best film to date, a perfect combination of artistry and mainstream smarts, I think The Prestige is one of a kind and possibly the best film of the 2000's.

Agree. It's one of the most Self-Referential films of all time, along with the South Park Movie.Lord Caldlow wrote:Tremendous, this is the movie where I realised how much I love Nolan's work. The movie is an 8/10, till the end, which puts everything back in context.
I'll give it a 10/10 for now, but I have the right to change it to a 9.5/10 (I am still deciding)

100%, one of my favorite movies. Actually, on my first viewing, I enjoyed it more than watching Inception or The Dark Knight ldmanface:
Incredible film, 100% for me for sure. There's something about The Prestige that really stands out to me amongst Nolan's films.
90% for me. It gets very close to perfection, but somehow I still prefer Memento.
