Wait, NOLAN directed this?

This 2002 remake of a Norwegian film follows a Los Angeles homicide detective dispatched to Alaska to investigate the murder of a local teen.

Of course it's good, buy it, watch it - Robin Williams is astonishing.

Even though I would probably consider this Nolan's weakest movie I would much rather watch Insomnia than movies from most other directors. That's how good Christopher Nolan is.

I actually think this movie shows how good Nolan is as a director.
The story was nothing special but the movie is a knockout.
