Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

He already made his Bond movie with Tenet, and that's enough for me.

But I do wonder if he'll keep the pattern going and do another sci-fi next. I kind of hope not... I'd like him to do a straight horror already since several of his films have had horror elements (including Oppenheimer).

I'm expecting new stills this week, a leaked trailer on Friday and the official trailer sometime next week.
The Dunkirk trailer dropped online on the Friday that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was released, so I wouldn't be surprised if that happens again.

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

Because the color switch happening at the time of detonation sounds like it's the majority consensus right now, but I don't think it lines up with what Mr. Nolan said in the Total Film interview. I don’t think it contradicts anything Nolan said in the Total Film interview: "I very much loved the st...

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

He’s already made several of his long-gestating original passion projects (Inception, Dunkirk, Tenet) and has gotten those off his chest, so it does beg the question of how deep does his drawer of original ideas go? He started imagining the script for Dunkirk after he read a book given to him by Em...

Re: The Films Nolan should direct

In another thread, I said I wonder if the fact that Jordan Peele beat Nolan to the punch with Nope as the first horror film to have scenes shot with IMAX cameras (with Hoyte, no less) will inspire Nolan to do a horror film next. Others on here have mentioned how it seems inevitable that Nolan will ...

https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/business/story/2022-02-28/how-uncharted-cracked-the-video-game-movie-code-for-hollywood-charles-roven-atlas-interview You mentioned “Oppenheimer.” What made you think that could be a theatrical event and right for Nolan? Roven: I had been given the book by...
