Are New York critics a special circle of people whose opinions are worth more than any other critics, just because they've been more historically critical of Nolan's movies in the past?

Possibly negative review but most of the complaints are about it being in IMAX/70 mm which is weird.

For those who want more of Nolan’s layered and thought-provoking work, however, he does offer some reassurance. “I will be coming back to dialogue.”

The Metacritic audience ratings are pretty good. 8.9 as it stands now.

Meanwhile it's at 90 on Critics' Choice.

Edelstein is a top critic so the perfect score is gone now.
