Murph: I know, I know. You're...disappointed I can't be you. I can't solve the equation.
Dr Brand: No. No, no, no. I was disappointed... that you tried. There was...no need for them to come back.

Re: Hidden plot in Interstellar (SPOILERS)
It's a nice idea, but I'm afraid it doesn't work. The sun isn't being consumed by a super massive black hole, and they do mention that the wormhole lead to a different galaxy. They could have easily proved this by comparing astronomical markers (nebulae, galaxies etc.)
Still, nice thought.

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread
@riddick-danish, it all makes sense now. I have another idea. Do you think Cooper station could actually fit inside the wormhole? It's huge. Maybe they were going to send groups at a time in those fighter like spacecraft. After all, I can't see why else they'd need them...

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread
I've always thought this whole discussion about whether the wormhole is still open or not is weird. In fact I always thought the film actually implies it's still open because 1. why else would Cooper station be by Saturn? 2. why else would Murph refer to Brand as being on "our new home"? 3. why els...

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread
Ok, so, I've seen the film twice now, and I think I have an interpretation that hasn't been pointed out yet (I could also just be a complete fucking idiot when it comes to using the internet, idk). It is my opinion that Interstellar is about the power of unity (not the game development program, the...

Re: 'Interstellar' Nolan Fans Member Reviews
Ok, so this is my first review here. Keep in mind that I just saw the movie and am still digesting it. So, hard facts. Rating: 8.5-9/10, or a solid ''A," if you're in a good mood. Beautifully filmed, definitely something that will stick with me for a long time to come. It's really hard to review thi...

Re: Interstellar General Information
Just a quick question: Does anyone know what format the IMAX Theatre in Sydney projects in? Is is 70MM or digital?
Thanks

Re: Interstellar's Soundtrack
Thanks, my bad. That was the link the guy posted on IMDB. Speaking of which, have you been to the board for this film there recently? Complete cesspool man, not kidding. Kind of a disgrace... I check it every now and then. It's like troll central. Occasionally someone on there has actually seen the...
