Just watched Hardy in Warrior (I've seen Bronson and other works). There should be no doubt that he can pull off engaging dialog one minute, then impressive brutality the next. Somehow, I'm now more excited to see TDKR. 7 months can't come soon enough!

You're taking his statement too litteral. From the rumors it seems there will be back story of Ras and perhaps Bane. If that's the case then its not a leap to bridge the end of TDK with Rises. Not inferring something long or drawn out but similar to what we saw in BB.
