Re: What's Your Favorite Scene?

The descent into the black hole. Kubrick dazzled, but the human aspect of the fear of the unknown has never been better depicted IMO. And the way he keeps on describing what's going on, like he's a test pilot, really taps into the Chuck Yeager archetype.

I caught the end of his review... Kermode enjoyed the technical aspects but had major issues with the plot, including the ending. Mayo seemed to enjoy it full stop and said he wanted to watch it again straight away. That's all I heard.

Re: 'Interstellar' Reviews Discussion

Kermode's mentioned on Twitter he's been editing his text review, but no indication of how much he enjoyed it.

Re: Interstellar's Soundtrack

So, what do we think of the IMAX trailer's music? If it's Zimmer, it really IS a radical departure from the rest of his career. But as I mentioned in the trailer's thread, there does seem to be an organ lurking in their somewhere which means it's probably at least the same palette as the OST if not ...

Re: IMAX Trailer #5

INCREDIBLE That music... it sounds too classical to be Zimmer, but I hear organ in there. If it's not him, it's probably similar to what we can expect in the actual OST. Thanks for the PM. For those of you wondering about the music, long sweeping strings, high-pitched, kind of an Arabian-deserty sty...

Re: IMAX Trailer #5

I'd like a PM, if not, perhaps some of those already in possession of it should see where else they can put the file themselves?

Trailer bootlegs appear to be becoming a whole new form of word-of-mouth-style advertising these days... glad for it.
