Re: CBS' Person of Interest
I get that it's a little too out there for the show's present setting, which is why I had suggested a non-linear narrative, through which you can do this sort of thing in a flashforward, set a few years ahead from the show's present timeline. Nolan has referred to show as a heightened reality, and ...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest
Wait, wait, give me a second. I keep hearing things about Samaritan being reborn through Shaw...um...? Where/when did this information come out? Is there any validity to it or is it simply a rumour? If it is true...please no. Just speculation from me, that's all. Kinda like they did in Return of Th...

Re: The Martian (2015)
Finished this last night, and absolutely loved it. At first I wasn't sure Damon was right for the part, but after reading the whole thing, I convinced he's going to absolutely kill it. I could also picture both Chastain and Mara in there roles. Really looking forward to this now. PS: Ridley, please...

Re: Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014)
A site interviewed Scott and asked about it and he said a four hour cut will be released. Nice, thanks! KoH was greatly improved with DC, completely different experience... but Gladiator and Robin Hood gained nothing except for length. But both were 20 minutes? This is more of a KoH situation, to t...

Well, I thought Exodus wasn't very well written. Performances were meh. I hope he doesn't screw up The Martian, that book is among my favourites...

Re: Interstellar General Film Discussion Thread
Something in the movie that has always bothered me.. When Cooper is explaining to Murph that on his journey, time is going to change for him, there is a line he says which is a little puzzling for me. It's when he says "..or travelling near the speed of light..". It's impossible to do so, Thorne in...
