I will say this about AI, I really really like that film. It's my favourite Spielberg film and one of my favourite films of all time. Of course die hard Kubrick fans never liked what Spielberg did.

I think he said some pretty stupid things and I say this as a massive fan of Gary Oldman. I have issues with political correctness as do a lot of people but his two examples (Mel Gibson rant, Buddhist school kid) were so bad). I've always liked The Prince of Egypt, so much so that I massively prefer it to Heston's The Ten Commandments (sacrilege to say that?).
