Re: Trailer #3

Just a hunch but I see them holding off on a trailer until June, just to see if theaters opening by June/July is realistic by that point.

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

These Indiewire/Forbes articles are all saying the same thing six different ways. WB/Nolan (and a lot of us) are hoping it's out on schedule as long as it's safe to go back to theaters. I don't blame them for all of the attention it's giving the movie based on how much more traffic these articles do...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

That October 2 slot keeps looking more and more likely if theaters aren't open in July.

Like the Forbes article mentioned, that first October weekend has been a go to for WB with A Star is Born and Joker and now they feel comfortable putting The Batman in that slot next year.

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

Has it been reported if Tenet is complete or close to it? I have to imagine this would be a big factor in any schedule changes. A prime summer slot would be ideal but if this is close to finished and I imagine Dune has a lot of work to be done then October or Dec would be more likely than pushing to...

Re: Prologue

My friend in Philly went to see Star Wars at an IMAX theater that got the Dunkirk prologue and was on the Dunkirk prologue list and not only did they not get the prologue, they didn't even get the trailer -- they got the short teaser that played with Hobbes & Shaw. So if anyone knows of an IMAX the...

I checked the premiere dates of TROS, in Berlin's IMAX there will be a screening at 11:30 (GMT+1?) tomorrow, I think we can expect the first leaks from there.
What time is that on the east coast US?

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation

Perhaps a dumb question, but can we assume Nolan/WB will push all possible theaters to project this in 15/70 IMAX? I know with my local theater there were issues up until a week or two before Dunkirk came out because they hadn't used the projector since his previous movie and needed to get it repair...

And they have the nerve to call us Nolan fans crazy!

Well, maybe it's better to break it to you now but I don't think he's the frontrunner. Some are even thinking he might miss the nomination.

Re: Dunkirk Awards Season Discussion Thread

It's interesting. If you follow the awards season closely on social media and blogs, etc. they really tend to play up the potential cultural impact on Oscar voting and you can take it or leave it, because when it comes down to it, a lot of these Academy members are sort of in a bubble when it comes ...

Re: Dunkirk Awards Season Discussion Thread

Dunkirk has picked up 1 Best Picture win in the critics awards recently. Get Out's performance is really befuddling, I thought it was fine but can't understand the love from the critics groups so far.
