Wanna dive into MGS at some point, where to start with so many of them? The very first?

Latest episode might be my favorite. Felt more tight and focused than the others. Watchmen on Sunday, this on Monday. Pretty good fantastical 1-2 by HBO
Yeah, the bear CGI was impressive. Lyra is starting to shine too.

Re: BBC's His Dark Materials

I'm disappointed in one thing with this series: The dæmons do not feel alive . I get that it's very hard to portray them like in the books (due to CGI and need of additional voice actors), but the show hasn't shown the intimacy between humans and their dæmons. The most glaring example: After Pan was...

Is this obnoxiously pro-American or should I see it?
If anything, this film is pro-Shelby and pro-Miles.

Re: Ford v. Ferrari (2019)

This is pretty good, definitely one of the most exciting film I saw this year. Almost didn't notice that it ran for 2.5 hours – it's fitting that a racing film never lost its (scene-by-scene) momentum. Damon and Bale were good, as always.

All I'll say is for those unaware of the source material - this is gonna go places (in fact ep 2 is already doing a lot of the bigger stuff earlier than the books are).
I was delighted the multiverse is shown this early.

Re: Hideo Kojima Official Thread

I've only watched YoutTube walkthroughs, and I found the (Episode 2 spoiler)
4th wall breaks hilarious. The funniest one was Higgs before the octopus boss fight.

I wonder what happens to the upcoming 5th season of Boondocks? They can't go through with it now without John Witherspoon. It wouldn't be the same without grandad :(
Damn, that's true. RIP :(
