To me at least, it's clear Christopher Nolan, Lindy Hemming, and Tom Hardy have created one of the most interesting villains in film history.

As I've said before, it seems Bane has reached the level of destruction that super villains normally only dream of. The level that both Ra's and the Joker tried and failed to reach.
